Course Objectives:
- Discriminate between consulting, supervision and coaching.
- List the five needs of all human behavior.
- Discuss the need(s) people are attempting to meet given the behavior they display.
- List the process of Choice Coaching and practice its steps.
- Discuss and practice active listening skills.
- Generate at least three options to perceived, presented dilemma.
- Practice moving beyond either or solutions to “yes, and . . .”
- Practice facilitating a person’s self-evaluation.
- Discriminate inconsistencies and practice skillful confrontation of them.
- Practice supporting and challenging those being coached and managing their potential excuses.
- Participate in the Goal Attainment process.

The primary instructional methods to be employed in this course will be short lecture, large group discussion, small group activities and exercises, handouts, and role play.
